Paul Guinan spent more than eight months totally devoted to this project. As a maniacal history buff, he could hardly imagine a better subject to pour his soul into. As an illustrator, this was to be the first full-length comic book printed in black and white that he inked himself, so his drawing would stand on its own. Paul committed himself to producing a work he could declare as one of his greatest achievements. He exhaustively researched every historical detail, from horses' bridles to telephone receivers. And of course, the ladies are wearing the latest fashions!
